(MOORESVILLE, NC) December 16, 2009 – Wave Energy Drink has a successful run at the 22nd Annual Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida from December 10-12, 2009.
Wave Energy Drink distributed their regular and sugar-free product through sampling and handed out literature related to their NASCAR Sprint Cup sponsorship program of Tommy Baldwin Racing and American Modified Racing Association’s (AMRA) Nick Hoffman Motorsports teams. Both race teams had show cars on hand for display.
Wave Energy Drink already announced their sponsorship program with Tommy Baldwin Motorsports in 2010 and has recently signed on to support the Nick Hoffman Motorsports program, sanctioned by the UMP (United Midwest Promoters) Ruling Commission. 17-year old Nick Hoffman, a protégé of NASCAR superstar Carl Edwards, will carry the Wave Energy Drink banner in 2010 while racing in 11 states through a full AMRA Schedule. Hoffman will be gunning for both Rookie of the Year honors and a possible championship, if all goes well. Hoffman is no stranger to victory lane, having captured eight wins in 2009—all with his signature back flip, which he learned from Edwards. “I know it’s still December but I am literally counting down the days to our first event on February 6th. I couldn’t be more excited about the partnership we now have with Wave Energy Drink. With their support, I hope to be able to give them a lot of exposure at the grass-roots racing level,” he added.
In addition to the attention garnered from the race teams on the showroom floor, Wave Energy Drink also had success in signing up potential franchisees in their nationwide distribution effort. By the final day, the company had established 12 new potential clients.
“The PRI Show was by far the largest trade show we’ve ever had the privilege of attending,” said Jason Wolter, Vice-President of Marketing for Wave Energy Drink. “We were blown away by the amount of companies represented here and glad that Wave could be a part of it. We have a lot of great plans for 2010 and this event will act as a springboard for us,” he added.
