Wave Energy Drink introduces their “Assignment: Runway!” Clothing Design Contest

Think you’ve got what it takes to design clothing for the hottest energy drink brand on the planet? Find out for sure by entering the “Assignment: Runway!” Clothing Design Contest.
We’re looking for something unique, trendy, contemporary and/or functional. Something special. Something hot. In other words, everything that encompasses the best qualities of our energy drink into a unique clothing design. Simply incorporate the Official Wave Energy Drink Logo into your wardrobe design submission. It’s open to all articles of clothing.
Fifteen lucky winners and one Grand Prize Winner will be selected and their designs will be produced and worn by runway models from the exclusive E Modeling Agency (from Charlotte, Beverly Hills and New York City) at select 2010 Fashion Shows in New York City, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Miami. The Grand Prize Winner will receive a trip to Las Vegas where the winning designs will be seen in the hottest clubs in Sin City. The winners will have the real opportunity to see their designs shown on a national stage, mass-produced and could end up in retail boutiques across the country.

Once you’ve completed your design, simply send us a high-resolution JPEG photograph by emailing it to us using the contest directions. Winners will be notified by email and required to sign a Winner Affidavit.

OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO WIN. Void where prohibited. Contest open only to legal residents of the United States of America who are 18 years of age or older. Contest Begins at 12:00 a.m. on Monday, January 21st, 2010 and ends at midnight on February 26th, 2010.
1. HERE’S HOW TO ENTER:
Website Submission. Visit www.tastethewave.com for Contest Rules and Submission requirements.
2. Judging Winners: The winners will be chosen on or about March 1st, 2010 from a list of total submissions received during the contest date duration only. Potential winners will be notified via email or phone and required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Compliance and Publicity/Liability Release on or before date requested by Contest Sponsor, Wave Energy Drink. If potential winner(s) is unreachable or does not sign and return Affidavit of Eligibility/ Compliance and Publicity/Liability Release within time stated in Sponsor’s notification letter, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate winner may be selected.
3. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE VALUE:
GRAND PRIZE – One (1) winner will receive a round-trip to Las Vegas, Nevada. Approximate retail value (ARV) – $1,000.
FIRST PRIZE – Fifteen (15) First Prize Winners will each have their winning designs showcased in select fashion shows in New York City, Beverly Hills, Miami and Charlotte.
All expenses not specifically included above, e.g., federal, state and local taxes are solely winner’s responsibility. Prize is not redeemable for cash; nor is it transferable or substitutable except by Contest Sponsor, Wave Energy Drink, with one of equal or greater value. All prizes not claimed will not be awarded. Only one winner per household or address is permitted. Total ARV for all prizes: $1,000.
4. GENERAL RULES: Employees, officers and directors of Wave Energy Drink, The E Modeling Agency and their affiliates, parents or subsidiaries, and their advertising and promotion agencies and any entities or individuals associated with the development, fulfillment of or supply to this Contest and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. All federal, state and local laws apply. The Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. No substitution or transfer of prize(s) permitted. No cash substitutions of prize(s) permitted. All federal, state and local laws apply. Potential prize winners will be asked to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form within 14 days of attempted notification in addition to a promotional release. Non-compliance with this time period may result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. Winner must be 18 years of age, with valid driver’s license. Unless prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes permission by the winner for the sponsor and its agencies to use, without further compensation, the winner’s name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. Sponsors are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offering, the administration of the contest, or the announcement of the prize(s). Wave Energy Drink and participating sponsors are not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of prizes, make no warranty concerning the characteristics or qualities of the prizes and reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner(s).
In the event of noncompliance with the Official Rules, or if the winner cannot be reached, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Prizes are not transferable. No cash or prize substitutions, except that Wave Energy Drink reserves the right to substitute prizes of comparable value.
All Submitted Entries become Wave Energy Drink’s property and will not be returned. Wave Energy Drink and Participating Manufacturer Partners assume no responsibility or liability for lost, misdirected, misplaced, damaged, illegible, incomplete, late entries or for any act or failure to act regarding the transmitting, delay or processing of entries, including data loss and/or corruption, computer malfunctions or software errors.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE. Wave Energy Drink, the E Modeling Agency and Participating Manufacturer Partners, their affiliates, parents and subsidiaries, and the employees, officers and directors of all such parties assume no responsibility or liability for, and all entrants agree to release and hold them harmless from and against, any damages, injuries, losses, claims or causes of action of any kind arising from participation in this Contest, the operation of this Contest or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize.
